ABOUT
Imogen has been working as a registered psychologist in Burleigh on the Gold Coast for the past 14 years. She initially began her career in the government sector which allowed her to engage with clients across a wide range of issues. In 2007 Imogen began working in private practice and has strongly focussed on tailoring her therapy to the individual needs of her clients.
Imogen is very passionate about seeing her clients gain management over their emotions and helping them begin to live a full and meaningful life. She has a genuine desire to sit alongside her clients during their difficult times and offer the support they need.
Being a Christian herself Imogen is able to work with clients who want to include their faith in therapy whilst utilising her knowledge of evidence based practices to assist managing symptoms.

REBATES AND FEES
Appointments are charged on an hourly basis with the majority of sessions only lasting for one hour. Medicare rebates are available for clients who have obtained a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP prior to the commencement of therapy. As it stands currently clients are able to access the rebate for 10 psychological sessions per year.

Clients do not need a referral from a GP if they are not wishing to claim a rebate via Medicare. It is recommended that clients discuss with their private health care fund prior to treatment to determine if they are eligible to receive a rebate as the Medicare pathway may be more feasible.
